View Full Version : Do I need to buy the add-on to get 1.5?

As the title states, do I have to buy the sdd-on to get 1.5? The reason I ask is because new mods will probably be made for 1.5. I don't plan to buy the add-on but I don't want to lose the ability to play new mods.

As it stands... YES!!!! Ubisoft states that it would be too much work to separate the patch update (1.5) & the Addon.

well technically, 1.5 IS the add-on.

Do the v1.5 fix some things on SH 4 ?

If yes... will be a v1.5 patch with NO add on ?

Really i dont want german sub in the Paciphic, i want a SH5 german Atlantic campaign like SH 3 but with the graphics, and the thermal layers of SH 4.

No, there will not be a 1.5 without the U-Boat stuff... You want 1.5 fixes to Fleet boats, you have to buy the CD.

Where as no cd is availble. Only d\l at this time.

If you cannot get the add-on local try and order it (an obvious statement i know)

At the moment most mods are being made 1.5 compatible so really imho your not missing a great deal at this moment in time

Why they dont do that ?

The problem is not the money, the problem is this add-on may be never abailable here in my country, i need to distur some one on a travel to have it.

I've already nagged about the lack of a stand-alone 1.5 patch for core game in a couple of other threads. I won't do it here, as well. Uhm...sort of! :p
