Is there any way to get external view AND TM?

With all of the beautiful mods out there for environmental effects I was wondering if I could get the best of both worlds and get external view WITH TM enabled. Is there a way?

Yes, in the README/FAQ, and I believe pinned to the first post of the Stickied TM Thread you can find instructions on how to re-enable that feature.
