First of at least two, maybe three all news stations from around world:

(just following their disclaimer boys)

The station contains 45 news broadcasts starting on 12NOV42. Each program clocks in around 49 minutes and deals with items home and abroad. The great thing is the personal interviews with service men on specific actions they were involved in. Not very politically correct either:up: . The file is 293MB uncompressed and contains the events file in case you do not Digital Trucker's RSM1.2. I highly recommend installing that MOD, otherwise you get repeats in programming which may cause you to wake up suddenly in a cold sweat screaming "Senor Pereda, Senor Pereda" (let you all figure out that reference).... Happy hunting!

UPDATE: I can be an idiot at times and looking through the CBS/Captain Midnight MOD there are 25 minute or less WNT programs as I went over a few of them, they are the same, but two episodes per file, if you would like to use it but didn't like the size of the original CBS mod then here is a smaller version. My apologies, I didn't realize my gaffe till I posted....

Or "Now get behind that machine gun and get ready for action!", another one of my favourites.

Good stuff, I'll be checking this out. And I will start using that RSM1.2, because as much as I love the CBS mod, I'm starting to put the wrong kind of gasoline in my car, if you get that one, too.

:rotfl: Yup, you'll be able to take the commercials and Capt Mid episodes and move them to the events folder and script as you see fit.

Wanted some feedback: I have 13 hours of exclusive reports from CBS of the D-Day invasion, make it into a seperate station or make them available for everyone to drop into their own set up station? Is there any interest in a Jack Benny only station? Hope youse guise are enjoying......:rock:

We're all first, it said zero downloads for me, too. Filefront just can't seem to update download counters in any logical fashion.

Thanks for the listening material, 1480. Looking forward to starting a new station:sunny:

FYI, I have those too and was planning on asking how everyone wanted them too. :smug:

Do them however you like Fred. I really love these radio mods, I listen to them all the time.

I keep forgetting to add a read me but nobody's perfect and this is the second "mod" I've ever done.

Read-me: This is free for anyone to use and enjoy. Not responsible for declining domestic relationships because of less time compression when playing SH4.

Credits: Digital Trucker for RSM1.2. Possibly one of the best tools for SH4 and I would not be able to spend my convalescent time doing these immersion based mods.

This is not JGSME compatible mod but without his work, I would not be able to enjoy the great works this community has to offer.

D/L to your desktop, scan for little green monsters, unzip to your SH4/Data/Sound/Radio folder. If you have RSM1.2 then fire it up and your good to go.... if not look into the ini file of your Radio folder using this generic cut and paste :

[CHANNEL]
Name=WTN
Folder=WTN
Freq=
Antenna=01.01.1942-01.01.1946:34.05,-118.22:100000
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.01

Add the specific channel # (freq=) make sure it's at least 10 higher then your previous channel and save.

If you have a problem with the station then look into the folder to see if there are two events file, one will be ini the other will be OLD. Remove the OLD file. If not PM me. Happy Hunting.

Have at it, Commander! I guess that will not delay the Amos & Andy station that is in the works too.......:up:

The Jack Benny Show station will be available tomorrow before noon. I will post it's own thread unless the moderators want it on here if they would PM to change the title of the thread to put the current and future stations in one place. :hmm:

Happy hunting!
