Greetings. I am producing a documentary on USS Lagarto (SS-371 Balao class) for the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc. As you may know, Lagarto vanished without a trace on her 2nd war patrol in the Gulf of Siam in May 1945. 60 years later, with the help of the Wisconsin chapter of US Submarine Veterans of WWII, diver Jamie Macleod found Lagarto sitting upright at 250' about 100 miles off the coast of southern Thailand.

Last March, I hired John Chatterton & Richie Kohler (of Shadow Divers fame) to survey the wreck in High Definition video with their cameraman Evan Kovacs. After the trip to Thailand we were able to interview USS Baya CDR Ben Jarvis at his home in California. Jarvis, who considered Lagarto CDR Frank Latta his mentor, was the last person to see Lagarto before she was depth charged and sunk by the Japanese minelayer Hatsutaka.

Here is a link to an 8 minute preview of the documentary www.wisconsinmaritime.org/lagarto (http://www.wisconsinmaritime.org/lagarto)

I have been given permission from UBISOFT to license images and footage from "Silent Hunter IV - Wolves of the Pacific" for use in this documentary. Now I need someone to help us create Lagarto's last mission.

If you're interested in helping us, I would be delighted to hear from you.

Thanks for your time.

We have people that have already created excellent videos from SH4 and you may want to talk to them
