Hello Captains

now its time to release my first mini mod for SH4.

This Mod make the Compass, Depthgauges and the Throttletelegraph bigger.
It also corrected the position of he Clock for better manual targeting.

This Mod is made for Trigger Maru and full JSGME-compatible.
Other Versions for stock or an other bigmod are under construction.

Hi RDP,

iam working on a JTxE based Version, so you can use it for every modded and stock SH4.
The only problem is the Border of the Compass cause every Mod use other colour, some are black, other are grey and so on.

I think i make a universal version with only the needle without the marking on the border.

Imperial compass? I thought degrees was a universal scale. Everyone has 360 on their compass.

Hello Captains,

now its time to release the universal-version of my mod for TM17.

This version is made for metric and imperial systems of Trigger Maru.
It contents Jimimadridīs JTxE-Tool and his Compassneedel and his Compassborder with markings. Again special thanks to him.
This Mod uses the original TM17 dials_us_metric/imperial.tga, nothing will replaced.
Its up to you which dials_us_metric/imperial.tga u wanne use !

Installation :

1.) Copy the extracted mod to your mod-folder
2.) Activate it with JSGME
3.) Activate BC_TM17u with JTxE-Tool

Deactivation :

1.) Deactivate BC_TM17u with JTxE-Tool
2.) Deactivate Mod with JSGME

I really like the idea of this mod because my eyesight is not the best. Does it work with TMO? I tried activating it in TMO according to your directions but when I use the JTxE-Tool I get the message that the menu_1024_768.ini file is not in the file target path. How did I mess this up? :roll:

Is there any way to enlarge dials in U-boat missions using your MOD? Is there any plan to release such a thing in the future?

I have worked out an version for the addon but now it only works for the US-Subs.
I try to make it work for bothe sides.

I run stock 1.5 with PE

I was able to add the bigger compass to the Uboat and the US fleet boat. Using Mad Max's files and his menu changes. The German compass casing (outer ring) looks like the US one but the compass maintains its original style just bigger.

the Menu.ini changes line up closely, to 1.5 version, i think the first one is off by one, the rest are spot on for the changes. i skipped the chrono adjustment. you'll need to add the JM TM compass files to the german and american layout subfolders.

remember to back up, but give it a shot, it works nicely.
Here are the V1.5 changes you may make, noted at the bottom are the file structure changes to use MadMax's mod with Uboats and US boats.
