I'm loving the Holtenau side. Hate having to wait for this one.:rock:

ok... this looks awesome... but I've heard that was done (and I'd downloaded) kiel port... now this port would be... what? Wilhelmshaven?

Nautilus, if you ever re-do the Lorient port I'll be in heaven! =)

No, this port would be Brunsbuttel, where the Kanal empties into the Elbe River, a handful of miles above Hamburg.

The only bad part is that now I'll have to waste time driving all the way through the Canal. Right now I'm testing things and I'll fire up the game, but only cruise through the Holtenau locks. Oh well.:rotfl:

I just noticed something that maybe at some future date someone can make more realistic: the 'Harbor Brunsbuttel' in GWX is much larger than the real one; that is there is at least one pier that sticks way out into the canal, whereas in the real one the ship on its way out drives straight up to the lock. As it is now you will have to weave an obstacle course to get to the 'exit' lock.

Or from the red 'Xes' on the picture, is that something you have already taken care of?

I've tried the Brunsbuettel files too, but same as for you i've always got a CTDs......
I'm hoping that this WIP will be available asap!

This is really outstanding, i would hate to know how long this takes :hmm: because my knowledge is crap in this area, is it possible to add bridges so there is movement access from land to island mass for people ? if you have a look there is no way people can get to the middle bits only by sea craft.

If not just tell me to go back to my rock and I'll scuttle away ;)

No its was still WIP
It was uploaded for me to work out the Patterns ( kiel out etc ) before 2.1 release
I havent seen a finished version either as Nautilus42 waiting for 2.1 release

I just noticed this. Modders have added bridges to the canal already. If you look at this picture there is one upriver from the locks, but it looks like the main access to the island is walkways on the lock gates themselves.

About the mod arlier and this 1. Is it working with stock sh3 v 1.4 od not. The first was the Holtenau locks at Kiel and the second is this 1. Now do dey work with stock sh3 V1.4

There was a post samver and i trayet too dl but the link is dead. Do anybady have theat mod NOK. I shore will love too have it in game. Damn stock SH3:damn:

Yes i dl AA ships but i dont have theam in game. Dont now how the script it in game.:oops:

This is JSGME ready

Extarct into your mods folder
Open the NOK\NOK folder and click on the repacker
Point it to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Terrain\Data
TerrainData.BFI

It will run
Close it when says done
Enable the NOK mod in JSGME and you are done
