This is all texture work no 3d.
I like to play SH4 and have full scene glare enabled. Problem was that deck crew started to glow with sun glare on.
I downloaded free PaintNet 3.22 it has dds file support built in and do not need any plugin or translator.
My idea was to make textures a bit more dark to get less glow. As side effect deck crew is now nicely suntanned.
As i edited crew textures i saw that in some textures eyes were open, in some closed.
From that i got this idea. What if i deleted all textures where eyes were closed and would use only textures with
eyes open.I hoped it would help with deck crew "zombie" problem.And now "zombie" has his eyes open.
I hope that in SH4-addon this problem will be fixed.
I think that some of these textures have been worked on by CAPTAIN COX
I play TM176 mod and used itīs normal textures as starting point = Deck_crew_No_zombie_suntaed mod (alpha quality):up:
works whith tm176. Aso made a short test whith vanilla 1.4 and was ok.
Captain von Keldunk, use this mod as you like but make mention of CAPTAIN COX as some textures are his original work.
I hope i got that right?:lol:
PS suntaed was supposed to be suntanned, as you can see all alpha work.:rotfl:
EDIT: what is this zombie in my mod. Zombie is for realism.
As all now now, us radar and sonar in ww2 were not so good, so they used zombies.
First generation zombies did not have eyes and they had halo in sunshine, as is realistically simulated in game.
Seamen as you know are wery supertitious and they did not like zombies. there was many complaints
about " no eyes" "how zombies glowed in sun" etc. To fix these problems Frankenteinīs monster lab in hollywood
made new second generation monster/zombie and they had eyes and sunhalo was reduced.
It is these second generation zombies that i have in my mod they have eyes and do not glow in sun so much,but do not
really look like humans, look at they eyes and you know what i mean.
edit no2: as you can see in this pic it has eyes and looks wery "lifelike".
