.)not sure if this has come up in the past, but has anyone tried doing some type of modification to the deck gun and AA guns. My idea is the casings dropping out and hitting the deck, and rolling off into the ocean. If anyone has ever played IL-2 sturmovik, you can see the casings leaving the undercarage of the aircarft.
.)Releasing debris as a decoy for destroyers and esccorts with lets say a minimal of one time, examples oil, mattresses, lifejackets, etc. fired out of one of the torpedo tubes. Or even if you have dead crewman, allowing a lifejacket strapped to the body to be fired out of one of the tubes to save the rest of the ship. Saw this in a WWII movie once, the Jap destroyer bought into it, but for SHIII. Destroyers would actually have to stop to look investigate the debris, allowing you for a shot, but lets say once per mission.
.)Another, capitol ships returning to port with all hands on deck and uboats.
.)Pots and pans slamming to the deck during depth charge attacks if close enough. Crew panicking.
.) I'm usually never inside the control room during a depth charge attackso I may not hear everything going on, usually navigating to get away or the external underwater view, but does the water rise if that compartment is flooding, and can you make it look realistic? I know the pipes leak, but the amount of water actually rising as the compartment is flooding, and decreasing as it's repairing. My theory is you shouldn't be able to see the crews feet and legs when the water rises to these levels.
.) The AA guns are bent when damaged and put out of action, is it possible to due this to the inside of the ships hull if seriously damaged?
Thanks for your time, please feel free to share your thoughts on these idea's.
