Is my Weapon Officer in panic??

Hi to everyones!
sometime happens that my weapon officer freezes near his desk. In SH3 stock and SH3+GWX2, too.

So maybe it'is a bug. When it happens, he can comply my orders when i ask him about ship identification or plotting torpedo course, but i can't anymore listen his voice and see his moving.

The only method that i found to wake up him is remove him from his station in crew menagment window and replace him again at his station. In this way, he cames back from his freezing.

Does exist a fix for this WO's behaviour?

:hmm: Haven't heard about such a bug before. Are you sure it's not Time Compression related? If your TC is greater than 4 (in GWX, I'm not sure how for stock) your crew will stop 'moving', talking and so on (I find it useful when Bernard starts to tell his family stories). :88)

I have played this game since it's release and added hundreds of mods in that time but have never had that problem, this is a weird one!:yep: All I could suggest is since it happens with stock is to check the following:
Using version 1.4b
reinstall SH3
Cripes thats all I can suggest,:oops: it is obviously an ingame problem so not much point checking drivers etc, if you do find problem please post, I'm interested in knowing.

thanks, maybe it's a video card problem.
I've got an Intel GMA950 on my laptop (where i use SH3) and it doesn't show binoculars in crew hands on conning tower, too..

anyway, is not a so important bug, does'nt affect playability at all...

(yeah! same time posting, what coincidence!)

I don't have the binoculars neither (nor water, smoke and similar details :rotfl:), but haven't encountered this bug. Doesn't seem to be video card related at all to me.

No that's what I figure, it would cause graphic glitches etc all over not just a select area!:-?

Ok, I understand. So maybe it's only a "behavioural bug" in WO's modeling, because he gives me his anwsers to my orders (but not by voice, only in log!) so the bug is only in the moving model (?).
It's strange..., i reinstalled SH3 when i intalled over GWX2.

You don't by any chance have the TC up when you tried it?:roll: I thought it might have had something to do with the GWX 2 periscope mods but then you say it has happened with the Stock SHIII so it can't be that!:-? Well, hope you resolve it soon!:)
