Flag location on ships

Hi all,

This may have been asked before, but the merchants (and most warships) that came with SH3 all appear to have their flag atop the main mast and not flying from the stern where it should be.

Does anyone know if that was 'normal' during the convoys of wartime?

The great looking Empire Freighter from Iambecomelife has it flying from the stern and it looks so much more realistic.

For those that have theirs on the mast, can this be changed to the stern at all?

I don´t know for sure, but I guess they all did have it atop the main mast for better visibility / recognition.

It can be done. You have to create a flag pole with any 3d programme. It´s up to you whether you use the ships hull to attach it or insert a new 3d object node plus needed subnodes. Then you have to change the flag´s node parent id to your new flagpole´s id / hull´s id and adjust the x/y/z values to show up in the right place.
