I have been using SH3 Commander since it first came out, and find it a brilliant program.

The other day i was having a look at the readme and noticed the description about the random file folder.

As i understand it, things like sabotage and thermal layers are loaded through this, i was wondering though if anyone has added anything different to this folder to improve gameplay, or to add other features.

My computer knowledge is not that great, so i havent touched it myself, other than the default folders that come with SH3 Commander.

So does anyone have anything different than the default files ? and if so what ?, maybe we could all share some ideas and descriptions on how to edit them.

regards

Yes I have used this often. If you follow the readme carefully, you can randomize just about anything you want to.
I have used it for the fanfar at sailing; and for the sabotage and malfunctions before JSCones included that in the main program.
No matter what you do, and whatever mistake you make, it won't cause any problems with SHIII so mess around with it.

How do you do that. I was trying to use the folders and for some reason I couldn't get it to work.

Don't be ridiculous; of course I'll screw it up. I'm very good a making things explode when I don't want to.

Sailor Steve,
I have been testing GWX full time for the past several months so I haven't used any mods or alterations to the test configuration.
As near as I recall, I renamed the ogg files I wanted to include to fanfar...
and then used the file structure for randomizing them in CMDR, as outlined in the readme.
