Heck, if I would be to decide I'd put in every variant of the 109. :rotfl:The best looking plane ever made, especially the boxy E variants. But if it would be only variant, I'd go with the E, so you wouldnt seeing G or F variants early in the war, besides, 109s didnt take part in maritime patrols AFAIK, atleast not in any "official" roles.

PWX is GWX for SH IV.
The upcoming Addon for SH IV positively Paving/preparing the way to PUT the german Uboats into SH IV+addon, i hope to put all the Stzock SH III content to SH IV
(see also ATLANTIC SHARKS)
Then, dear Steed, i shall if possible put the GWX 2.1 content in SHIV+addon
and after that i will split up with my girlfriend eand leave my job and sail to death because i do not eat any more either.
and IX B in SHIV... Hardcore addiction factor.

Except it wouldn't properly be an 'X', would it? If GWX is an expansion of the original Grey Wolves, then I would think it would just be 'Pacific Wolves' at first.

Lol, I'm not. What I meant by maritime patrols was anti-ship or escort squadrons who's main role was to hit the enemy shipping or escort the Kondor's/ HE111s in anti-shipping missions. The fighters taking part to Operation Ceberus were from Luftflotte 3 and Luftflotte Reich, which roles werent maritime operations but to fight the Allied planes crossing the Channel. Besides, 109s fuel capacity wouldnt have been enough for a effective maritime role.

If i had a way to put that GWX 2 stuff right into SHIV like i fill Fanta into my Glass, you know, and play the damn thing from the german side, i d do it.
and damn i shure hope that this SHIV addon paves the way, you know in the menues, the coding the units the effects and the GUNS ZON and GUNS DAT and GUNS SIM files (and all that hardcore scheisse i cannot understand).
and once that i understand how THEY put my Monsun Boot in SHIV, on a GERMAN base like Penang, im going to Join the Atlantic Sharks and do my best to STEAL what the GWX crew did, convert the TGA textures to DDS and put it in the "SHIV+Addon" Game.

You lose nothing! and get new possibilities! more potential for further modding! craw management! calling in Air Support from the Luftwaffle! and so much more.
and your GWX Ships and Harbors, milkkows, Sperrbrecher, Type36A, RAF Rescue Vessel and Beaufighters are still going strong in SHIV+Addon!
...just like the Flight simming people, i shall take what was in FS9 and port it to FSX when the time is ripe...

In the UK the BBC will let you hire the Tellytubbies to appear at events etc. Problem is they can only appear in public for 10 minutes before collapsing from heat-stroke and the things are freakin' HUGE! The smallest of them stands at 6 feet 7 inches. The biggest is over eight feet. They're not allowed within 30 feet of the public in case they either terrify the kiddies, or keel over and crush someone. :o
And they all go to the bathroom together - 'cos they only have one tinky-winky between them :rotfl:

We'd prolly go with something beefier like "GWX4" or the like.:up:

Man, you guys are gluttons for punishment! Me thinks you're like some combat vets...you can't wait to get back to the world, but once there, you can't wait to get back to the action. The big difference is that instead of feeling like you're never as alive as when you're close to death, you guys feel like you're never as happy as when you're toiling over a world class mod. Well, assuming we go that route... it will be lots of work and will take lots of time.
Nothing should be considered as a promise or to be written in stone.
After 2.1 is out... we'll set a date to reconvene and discuss the possibilities in private. If the right people show up at the round table to do the job... we can do it. If not... we cannot.
Whatever we do, we will wait until Ubisoft is finished writing any/all update patches. We don't want to block any potential profit they may stand to make and starting work any sooner would mean potentially having to stop to rework whatever we build.
Who knows? They may have plans for the Atlantic using the SH4 platform first... and that could be a win-win situation.
