14 Inner Sanctum Mysteries (1945-1946), 64 kbps, 12-13 Mb each, 178 Mb Zipped download

http://hosted.filefront.com/RogerDodger1946/

I uploaded some Inner Sanctum Mysteries (as one zip file) for any of you that want to give your crew something REALLY SCARY to listen to on your way to a patrol zone.

Hopefully, someone will show me how to get these into my own radio.

Three new programs added for your listening pleasure (2/8/08)

Note: None of these files are JSME ready. They are the programs ONLY in appropriate folders. Individual programs are in 16kbps format. Lower quality to be sure, but it makes the files much smaller, and if you do use them in your Sub's Radio, they will be more appropriate sound-wise.

6 'Creaking Door' programs. These programs originated in South Africa and are Post-WWII. Creepy mysteries in the Inner Sanctum forte'.

7 Inner Sanctum Mysteries from 1942 16kbps

Hey, RD, thanks for the scary stuff:up: Gonna download it right now.

As far as getting them into your radio, you have several options. You could open up your .....\Data\Sound\Radio\Washington folder and just drop them in there and they will play randomly. Or if you wanted to make a seperate station just for them you could create a folder in the Radio folder for them and name it whatever you want to name the station. Then edit your radio.ini file to reflect the new station. If you don't feel like doing it the "hard" way, click on the link in my sig to the RadioStationManager. It will do all the editing work for you.

Just be prepared.:yep: If you become a radio station junky like some of us do, you may end up with a HUGE Radio folder (mine's ONLY 2 Gig and growing).

Kool RD  I LIKE THAT STUFF:yep:

I'd like to copy that for my own use out of game if that's ok ?

I kinda miss the old radio serial adventure and mystery stuff when I'm reading.

1. Yer welcome, I'm sure. Glad to be able to contribute something to the forum. I'll have to add to my other collections, like 'Lights Out', before uploading.

2. Got it today, and looks like it will save me much time. Thanx!

3. I can see that it will fill up my HD rather quickly. The universal fate of Old Tyme Radio Junkies. I've still got a bunch of audio cassette tapes of old radio programs 'somewhere' in my garage. I should re-record these to MP3 format before they disintigrate.

Thank you all for the interest. I'll try to post new stuff to FileFront from time to time.

Feel free to use these files any way that pleases you. Stick them into your MP3 portable player or burn them to a audio CD so you can listen to them while driving.

I'm sure the copyrights have run out long ago on all of these programs.

fred8615: I have already downloaded several of your radio stations, and you're right - they're HUGE! Now that I've got Digital Trucker's Radio Manager, maybe I can make them work. It gets really boring just listening to the waves all the way from Freemantle to Luzon (even at 512 TC).
