I don't think the enemy would see you sneaking through the The Strait of Gibraltar at night in this sleek stealthy U-boat.

I am glad you like it Ven... I was a bit worried... 70+ views and nobody posted a comment.
Thanks for your opinion mate!!
as you can see, i always change your uniforms to match the skin... in this case i wanted a high contrast, the black uniforms looks very good too, or the brown one as another option of high contrast.

Yea I know what you mean when you upload a new mod and nothing happens and you think oh dear this isn't good, but trust me mate I like this skin; its not harsh on the eyes and it kind of reminds me of the Luftwaffe night fighter paint schemes they used.

Kapitän Eugen "Totenkopf" Scharling here!

This is exactly, what we need to our suicide mission! :arrgh!:
Have handpicked my men for the ultimate raid on the british naval bases and we will take of as soon as... Erased by censorship. Strictly confidential!

Scharling.

Sorry about the delay before responding, but have been thinking and come up with the above scenario for use of this boat.
Especially picture #4 is really great and the one that got me started!

"The Black Menace" looks like something I would order, if I was to take off on a special mission.

Currently I'm in early April, 1944 north of Australia, so it probably won't take long before my U-181 career is finished...

I've been searching for info of camouflage-schemes used, but not very much found. Do you know this little "book"? http://www.rokket.biz/models/modelsweb/rokket/u557/images/uboat_colours.pdf

On page 22 there's a photo of U-201, which looks very much my U-181 (in sig)

Thanks for your work, CapZap

Very interesting link... i am checking it right now, and it provides very useful info.
About the U-201 camo, Fubar did the same camo, it's called the U-253... I tried to make something similiar for the IXD2 and it has the same name: "U-253" ;)
i hope you enjoy the Charcoal skin and my best wishes of success for the U-181 and the gallant crew!!! (salute!!!)
