Today I went and moved the BtS Mods Skins and Downloads site one last time to our new and final resting place

www.bts-mods.com

The main page isn't much to look at but it's a work in progress!

Our old forums and their information have been placed into the new forums, so all of your accounts should work as they did when you went to beyond-the-shadows.org/bts-mods/ Just use the same username and password and carry on

We're now able to provide 1500 gigabytes of space and 15000 gigabytes of transfer for the files we host.
Everyone who has files there or is a staff member will have the option to request an @bts-mods.com email address as well.

I'm still ironing out all the wrinkles, but the future is looking very bright for this community

I would've sent this out in a mass-user email but my forum mailer took a crap on me, I apologize for that!

I have a question for all of you here...

Would you prefer it if the mods were downloaded by registered users only or would you be more interested in a site like this if registration was not required? And for those who have their files hosted with us, what would you prefer as the lawful owner of the files available?

The reason I ask is that as I get more familiar with the content management system I'm using, I'm about to shift the download links from our forums to the website. The website CMS allows me to set up permissions, I'm curious to see what you all would think.

For the moment, unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'm going to keep it simple for everyone and make the files accessible to visitors as well, requiring no registration.

I prefer the registration. I mean you/me/your mom/my dad has registered here to enjoy the privileges. And most other sites as well require a registration. It's not were selling email addys to gay/midget/ or both porn sites...or any advertisement...no pop ups...PHFTTTTTT
Just my nickels worth...

Your request is granted  Only makes sense, we had it set to that in the past and it worked just fine...

Carotio made a point that he couldn't download files from the site, I fixed that as well.
