Changing Mods in Port. How Safe?

I know that one should never change mods while at sea and only do so in port. So, while in port. is it completely safe to change mods? Say change from RFB to Trigger Maru or vice versa?

Yes. Get to port. Uninstall any unwanted mods from the bottom up within JSGME and then install new ones. For safety, save your new settings as something like 'In Port Save' and then launch your new mission. :D
