Thomsen's WhispeRING RING mod

Hi there!

This mod changes that loud annoying RING RING for a much lower one in volume. The sound is the same, except for the ringing part, which I decreased around -12 db. Now you wont disturb your wife and neighboors anymore.

This is JSGME ready and its compatible with any mod.

Ok, thanks to Melandir I found a new bug in my mod... when crew are desperated and they scream the order is another sound, and this another sound I didnt changed the ring volume. So i'll be doing this now and re-uploading.

Ok, now I think I've got all the sounds... I edited the first post with the new link now... please if you d/l it already, re-download it as the other dont cover all the ringing sounds.

Thomsen, I downloaded your second file (had previously D/L the first one) and I am using it now. I like it much better than the stock GWX 2.0 with the load ring-ring. I can now hear the repeat oreders being given that I previously could not hear.

I think it is a wonderful mod! Your second file seems to be quite a bit larger than the first one, any reason for this?

The first file is only the normal voices. At the time I modded the files, I havent realized that there were another voice files from the desperated crew. Those panicked voices are from you are being under attack, them the crew start yelling the commands, and in the second file I modded those files too. Thanks to Melandir! :up:

Probably wont be a problem...

Lehmann and crew wouldnt change those files I guess...

When their 2.1 patch is out, remove my mod, install theirs and re-install mine. Even if they change the files wont be a problem.

Anyway when the 2.1 comes out I will check. And if so, Ill reupload the new one! :up:
