Yet another GWX scope magnification question

Hi Guys

I've come across a bit of a confusion regarding GWX scope magnification.

The Bad Wolf showed me that the.dat file for the scope magnification has this:

04 00 00 00 00 00 80 40 = 4X .....original obs scope
04 00 00 00 00 00 90 40 = 4.5X ..GWX obs scope
04 00 00 00 00 00 A0 40 = 5X
04 00 00 00 00 00 C0 40 = 6X .....Various scopes
04 00 00 00 00 00 E0 40 = 7X .....Other UZO's
04 00 00 00 00 00 00 41 = 8X .... Other Binocs
04 00 00 00 00 00 20 41 = 9X .....GWX Attack scope,UZO,Binocs
04 00 00 00 00 00 40 41 = 10X ....None

Could you clarify this for me, please? It is actually 10x right?

00 00 40 41 does not = 10
