Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific - Gato Damage Sound Pack

We now have 2 versions available :-
1. Stock Version - For use with a Standard install of SH4.
2. For Use With Ducimus's Gato OverHaul Mod And TM 1.7.5.

To Install?:
Extract to your Silent Hunter 4 folder or if you use jgsme, put it in your mod folder and enjoy this Update.

What you Get - All missing internal damage Sound Files, including Esparks, pipe breaks, Steam Burst etc
It took a while to do and i just hope i've not upset anyone by releasing This Update.

Update.

Just so you all know You will also hear the sounds play in the conning Tower when the pipes burst etc.

I'm still trying the get the Light Bulbs to Pop in the right order so i suppose it will always be WIP but as it stands it should all work ok.

Please feel free to do with as you wish.

This looks like another must have mod; however, the .dat files conflict with TM175 as well as Ducimus' Gato Interior Overhaul .


Is in possible for you to create another version that is compatible with TM175/Gato Interior Overhaul ?

No, it's JSGME-compatible. Highly recommended to use it for your mods.

Thanks for info, i was a little confused because the directions say to simply extract to sh4 folder. Usually it says extract to sh4 mod folder.

Sorry for the confussion - i dont use jgsme so i wasnt aware of a mod folder. It should work fine with it anyway so by all means unzip to your Mod folder. :)

Gato Sound Update is ready for Download - It is Combatible with Ducimus's Mod and therefore it should work with TM 1.7.5 aswell - Please let me know if you have any problems.

I'm using it with ROW+RFB+RSRDC and I haven't noticed any problems.

Steve, i finally got home and had some time to fire up the sound mods youve been working on, I cant say enough about how this really changes the game for me! So much more immersive now! you did a fantastic job.

Same goes to you Ducimus, nice work cleaning up the interior, i typically run stock but with ROW, the new interiors and the sound pack id have to say it feels like a whole new game.
