View Full Version : RSRDC Compatibility

At the moment I'm using just TM 1.7.4. However now that I've finally completed my 1st career patrol and am docked at base, I'll be upgrading to TM 1.7.5 and installing the appropriate version of RSRDC.
However I was told on another forum that RSRDC is not compatible with current careers, and would have to start a new one. Although it's just one patrol, I'd rather not start afresh, so can anyone please verify or refute what I've just been told?
Thanks. :)
Edit: OK, I found the answer in the RSRDC sticky. Old save games are not compatible, so it looks like I'll have to begin anew.

If you have nice career going amidst a new patch\version coming out, you could always do another install and play the new stuff with it. I have 4 install on my computer, plus a set of clean SH4 1.4 files.

Well, we have to make do with what we have. No point fretting over stuff we don't or can't have. What's worse, it can't even double as a coffee maker! With 55 C max temp for the CPU and 72 C for the graphics card (despite both being overclocked), the damn thing can't even boil water! :rotfl:
