I have been talking to hp for an hour and they give me the runaround,so i think there must be people here who can do wonders with computers.So here is my question .............I have a hp pavillion a1626n pc and i wanted to upgrade the motherboard they dont recomend it,Any one here have the same pc and if so is the mobo upgradable?I can take it to a pc shop and get the board tattoed so thats not a problem.Any thoughts?

after looking up the specs for your system I really cant see why you cannot change your Mobo if you want, but why are you changing it as it supports a fair amount of ram and upgrades in cpus.

I have upgraded the cpu to a 64 x2 5400 .2.8 and its as far as i can go they say(hp)also the mobo does not display temps in the bios,Is there any way i can see the cpu temps in the bio doesnt support it.

Try www.guru3d.com (http://www.guru3d.com) for programs so you can see your board temps that is of course if they support the Mobo you have. But as to upgrading I cant see why you couldn't, best thing to do is probably to go down to your local Computer joint and ask the techs there for info.
