Hi there...
I really wanted to know, which one is the .tga file of the girl's picture in the radioroom wall?
I couldn't find it loose in the .tgas, so I figured it must be inside one of those .dat files, maybe on the respective uboat type.
But I couldn't find any .dat decompressor, and the timetravellers home page is gone. Can someone help, please?

Which version of those files do you need? Stock, GWX, NYGM.......
They are all located in the interiors dat file for each U-boat.
Answer me with which version you need.

Philipp_Thomsen,
If you are after the .tga files for the picture which sits just above the radio/radar operator it is "druck_radio_x.tga" where x= the sub type (eg 7, 9, 21 etc) you are interested in.
I have a collection of images which I use with the SH3 Commander Random folders to mix them up each time I set sail. Within the SH3 Commander construct, they reside in the Data\Textures\TNormal\Tex directory, and hence, are copied to the same place in the main SH3 directory. No need to play with any .dat files
Works fine on my install (GWX 2.0 + SH3 Com 2.7 etc) so hope this helps.
Cheers ;)

So basically all I have to do to is to create a picture, transform it to .tga and put into de Data\Textures\TNormal\Tex with the name druck_radio_9.tga for my IXB uboat, and thats all settle?
haha... cool =)
I tough that would require more effort, pretty simple huh?
Well thanks man, you're the best!

Hi again,
There is a little more to the file than just renaming your fav photo and sticking it in the directory. The file is a compilation and also includes the textures for things like the captain's bed and a few other bits and pieces. If you have an editing program like photoshop, or similar, you can easily cut and paste your picture over the top of the radio room photo and your good to go.
If you've played with the file yet I'm sure you've probably worked it out.
Sorry, I should have included the info with my last reply.:oops:

Just for fun, you can also place dirty magazines on the Capt's Bunk.

You need to find a contemporary magazine. Playboy first appeared in the end of 1953 with the lovely Miss Monroe as covergirl :)
