Hi Everyone,
Returning from patrol, using RFB + RSRD I had a run in with an aircraft which I managed to survive but when I surfaced at about 2100 it was daylight and did not get dark until about 0700 next morning. It remained thus until I entered harbour, dark all day and light all night. What caused this. There seems to have been a 12 hour shift, but how?

Where were you? You basically keep the time at Pearl if I'm not mistaken. So over by Japan the daylight as compared to your time on the watch will not seem correct.

Even with Pearl time sunrise always occurs in the morning and sunset in the evening(judging morning and evening by the clock), at least if you're in the Pacific.

Sounds like a mod conflict.

Well, if I'm running PH time and I'm over at Honshu, my watch usually shows about 10-11 am and the sun is just coming up.

Reading through the Batfish logs, they always made note of the local time. It would be nice if the game displayed the local time in the corner, but when you put the cursor over it the base time that is displayed now stays as is.
I had this happen to me once also. I can't remember the conditions now, but the days were dark like night and the nights had daylight. It was really weird. But it disappeared after I got back to port.
I figured that somehow the timing got messed up. I have not experienced it again thou.
edit: I was running TM & RSRD mods at the time.

Hi Thanks for the replies. I was attacked South west of Midway while heading for Pearl by a 4 engined flying boat, which I thought a bit strange, And the day/night reversal lasted all the way to Pearl.
On another note, not really SH4, but it affects the operation of it, I get a message from my Nvidia debug screen 'Silent Running: HW clock slowdown due to missing auxiliary power'. Does this mean I need to U/G my psu?
Regards to all, RR.
