Need help with GWX mod

Hello all, i installed my Silent hunter 3 game and patched it to 1.4b as the GWX says to do, then i downloaded the GWX.exe from filefront and clicked on it to install, it then said i need the disk to put in or something, can anyone give me step by step instructions to get this great mod installed and working. I have SH3 and patch 1.4b, need help from here please. Thanks all.

You not only need the .exe, but also 7 .bin-files!
Each .bin-file is approx. 200Mb big, except the 7th one, which is around 16Mb.

Did you get those as well?

Darn no i did not, can you tell me were to place these as well.

You can either:

- go to the GWX-website, and follow the instructions you can find there.

or

- download the other files, and make sure to put them in a folder where you GWX.exe also resides.


Installing is a matter of doubleclicking the .exe, and follow the hints.:D
Reboot, after you installed GWX2.

And while you're at it, you may also get SH3-Commander, to work together with your fresh GWX-install.
All wisdom is on the GWX-site, or in the GWX-manual.
