sh3 commander mod

hi all iv got two install's of sh3 one is stock in it's defalt place that i run with my commander mod and the other is gwx2. what i want to do is to have two installs of the commander mod and run 1 on 1 and 1 on the other game can this be done if so how and can someone help :D

In the SH3CMDR readme, there is a full instruction on how to do this.
Also, search for "multi-install for a mod to help.
Why would you want anything in addition to GWX2.0?

Simply install another SH3 Commander (call it for ex. SH3 Commander GWX) and when you first run it you will be asked where you want it to work from. Point it to your second installation and that should be it http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/thumbsup.gif

the stock is for my steel sharks and for doing mod with:up:

iv try doing it your way with the 2.7 commander but the thing is that it run off your defalt save in My Documents but becos iam using multi.sh3 where you can change the defalt save to whatever you want so eech copy has its own save folder the command mod done see that how would i beabel to change the defalt setting in the commander mod :hmm: that if it can be done and if thats ok with JoneSoft

Here is another alternative:

SH3 Commander & Multiple Installs[/font]

It is recommended to have a separate install of Commander for each different install of SH3.
1)Install SH3Commander and rename the program folder to suit.
2)Rename each SH3Cmdr shortcut as required.
3)You will need to use the l: switch to point SH3Cmdr to the right installation.

Here's an example of the l: switch for dual installs, just tailor it to fit.....

Right click on the SH3Cmdr shortcut & choose properties.

Target
"C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander-GWX\SH3Cmdr.exe" /l:"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent HunterIII-GWX"

Start in
"C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander-GWX"
