Sometimes two different MODS change the same file. It many cases, it's easy to note the changes and to make the appropriate decision. HOWEVER, such as with the menu_1024_768 file, the entries are far too numerous to eyeball.
So is there a program that you MODDERS use to easily identify differences in two files of the same name?
Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

For text files, examdiff is a good one, too.

Another excellent one is Total Commander.:yep: Will highlight the differences in Red, or report "Identical".
And not bad (especially for text files) Winmerge:

I've been using the Files Comparer Tool (http://www.script-debugger.com/products/filescomparer/) with great results, mainly in text files (it was a life-saver when I was modding Medieval 2 Total War). It's quite useful for .ini, .txt and .upc files comparison with regards to SH4. I had to register at techrepublic.com to download it though. I might try WinMerge that Anvart suggested, it looks pretty similar to the one I'm using, and it doesn't require registering.
