A little gift for your SH3 Christmas tree

I made my list, checked it twice, found a sub that needed attention and made it nice :lol: This is my Christmas present to all of you :up: I'll warn you now, if you're a fan of realistic u-boats I suggest you turn back before you have a stroke :hmm:



This piece took me bits of last night and the better half of today to finish. It's a mix of woodgrain and diamond plate that puts this boat in a league of it's own, guaranteed not to rust for as long as you survive the war! :up:

I don't think pictures do this boat any justice whatsoever, I had to decrease the sizes almost 60% so I could fit all these on one page.

I don't recall what type of wood I used on it, but there's enough varnish and paint stainer to make it last a lifetime :cool:

Yall will certainly be surprised of you give this a run, it's a beauty :cool: I put more work into this one than I have any of my other subs and it just might have a sister ship done in another wood texture by tomorrow, we'll see ;)

I just got a few ideas for a possible New Year's sub :hmm: I tried marble before, didn't really turn out so great on its own so I layered a few effects on it. You see the result in another one of my subs, I just have to release it ;)

I'm already thinking of making a new pattern for the next boat, black hull, gold rivets, possibly a few other goodies but I won't spill the beans on it :up:

Oh and Koon, that spoon fed spoiled rotten pathetic excuse for a dog was dropped off at her rightful owner's early Christmas morning, was the best present I could've asked for because those little dogs get on my nerves badly!! She whined constantly! Never did spoon-feed it either, I figured it's a dog, if it's hungry enough it'll eat out of a bowl. I hate it when people make their pets think they're people and spoil them so badly... boy it boils my blood just thinking about it!!

How about a totally green politically correct version made from recycled cardboard boxes that uses hydrogen made from dehydrated water for fuel? lol. What kind of stain did you use on this? Latex or oil base? and I hope the mahogany is from a regenerative source instead of from some clear cutting operation in China?:rotfl:

I thought it was oil based, don't trust that latex stuff lol Not sure where I got the wood from, couldn't afford Oak or Maple :lol:
