View Full Version : Repeating Orders - is there a fix!
Hi, I asked this in another thread but got no replies, at first the game played with no problems but now it does it all the time, allways seems to be after reloading a game, such as "Passing Thermal Layer", every 10 seconds forever, unless I abandon patrol and restart, is there a fix, or does every one just put up with it?:damn:
Thanks.
In base save should fix:lol:
In base save should fix:lol:
That's when it first started, I was in base starting new patrol then I had to leave the game so I save it, came back later and loaded it up & this started up, all I could do is start patrol again, I saved later mid patrol & started again twice but each time it only repeated a half dozen times, never happend through the first patrol at all & must have saved and loaded several times. I thought this was fixed!
You know, I've never had this problem. But this has got me thinking. I NEVER save in a base. I always start the patrol and save after I've cleared the shipping clutter that exists around the port. Maybe that is the key?
I'll give that a try Peto, that's probably what Don was on about, with the laughing smily after his suggestion! a little sarcasm!:p:D

Some things i have learned from sh3 and sh4 is don't save in base, don't save near convoys or ships, don't save in battle, don't save under water and all will be well. ;)

Hmmm, just had it happen today for the first time. It was right outside of Pearl Harbor when I was about to head out for patrol. It kept repeating "Passing thermal layer." I set course for my refit point at Midway and went into time compression (x2024). When I arrived at Midway and came out of time compression the repeating phrase had stopped and all was normal. So maybe that will stop the repeating phrases for you, too. Hard to say for sure since this is the first time it happened to me.
Yep (see post 1), why it picks on that phrase I don't know but if it happens again I might replace the file with one that has only silence!:yep:

Yep. You could always send out a SM3rd to check the temp for you .
