How can I remove the mournful chorus music at the start of the program........it's depressing......perhaps that is what it's supposed to be !! but it's got to go!:down:

Take any track that you like, convert to OGG format, rename as Menu_Master LOOP and replace with the existed one.

OR

Download any of my Music Mods [link below my sig] and enable it in
JSGME.

You can also turn off all the music in the Options menu.

Don't turn the music of in options becouse than you can not use the gramophonesong , like my rare gramophonesongs http://files.filefront.com/30+Gramophone+songsrar/;9176538;/fileinfo.html

what i do , take a file in the sound, Music that is empty 0 KB, copy it, and rename Menu_Master Loop our what you wis

Gramophone is independent from Music option; Turning off music will not disable the Gramophone feature.

Yes, unchecking (disabling) music will still let the gramophone work. But turning down the music volume all the way will also turn down the gramophone. Weird.:hmm:

Just the other day, I had an email through our website asking me:

"Every time I start SH III with GWX mod. I hear this beautiful music of choir and boy’s voice. Please can you give me the name of this music?"

So, you can see some like it, some don't.

The options open to people who don't like it are:
a) Disable the Music in the options. This will not stop the gramophone playing.
b) Replace the Menu_Master LOOP.ogg file with something more to your taste.

If you choose option 'b', you've just taken your first steps into modding SH3/GWX, it's a slippery slope from there onwards.:D You have been duly warned.

I use a selection from Das Boot; not music at all, but the sequence with them walking through the u-boat pens.

Helps me get ready for the patrol.
