recommend don't deleting it, you might get a CTD. It's best just to replace the file with a 'blank' one like we did in SH3 ;)

Amazing isn't it RB, I remove the dds file & replace with SH3 U-Mark.tga file & works like a charm, but if I convert the tga to dds, being small it seems to convert ok, but all I get is a white square instead of the mark!:-? I really have no idea how to edit dds files!!:88)

the materials.dat file has 'blank' materials loaded for each material. This tells me that the materials.dat file will accept TGAs (?). The game may look for DDS files but if it can't find one it defaults back to TGAs it seems :hmm:

I used the one from TM & works fine, just don't like deleting files, the main reason is that I like using JSGME so that any time I can revert to standard, but if files are deleted it would be easy to lose track of things, I suppose I could always just create a folder & drop all 'deleted' files there!!:)
