If i got engine problems (destroyed) means i can go nowhere. By just floating for days. Wouldnt i eventually reach shore? Drift with the current?
As i understand it the pacific have pretty strong currents some places...

You are not going anywhere. You'll have to reload a pre damage file and play it over.

To what shore, on what side, do you think they will have a port there? I had the same problem as have many others. I even tried to go into the files and fix my ship there, and I even was sure I found the correct values to change (No I was certain of it) but... it didn't work :doh: I worked on hacking and editing files in the game for 4 days:dead: to not loose the the best campaign I had ever played! but... I had to er uhh give up the ship in the end:down: . With as big of a problem as this has been for countless others surely someone will come up with a rescue mod of some sort god knows we have the talent, and from what I have seen of the games engine it should be able to be done (I was just missing one critical piece) maybe after I'm done with the uniform mod I'll try to mod that aspect;) .
