View Full Version : Instillation instructions would be nice
After reading some posts I see some of the lucky few are running in to problems with GWX 2.0, would be nice if you GWX guys put up a post what we should all do.
By the way, info on Silent Hunter Commander would be nice as well.
This may cut down on some of the many questions that will wing there way to you.

Actually I'm looking to add full instructions to the GWX homepage tonight.
We'll cover:
Uninstalling SH3 fully.
Use of the MD5 Mate.
Installation of GWX.
Installation of GWX v2.0's cfg files for SH3Cdmr.
However, I should add, all the instructions you need for installing GWX are in the manual.
I just have to take care of a small problem.;)
Looks liek you beat me to it Dan

Might I recommend the manual too? :D
I like the idea of 'instillation instructions'. However, the ATF shut down my still some time ago...:yep: [must have been some fumble-fingers getting in the way]
From what I have read in the manual...the only thing that I could not find was 'what to do with the SHCommander' files and that one I think I can figure out without too much trouble. The rest of it looks to be a piece of cake...
I just copy/pasted them. Haven't had time to try it yet, so I don't know if that is the right way or if it works. Couldn't find anything about those files except that they were needed.

The SH3commander files go into C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Cfg

Ah, good. That's where I put them.
