It's not that I'm impatient, it's just that I've run out of real things to do like my laundry, cleaning up around the house, doing the dishes, and cutting my own hair. So I did what every PC nerd does . . . PHOTOSHOP! So show us how excited you are. Or not . . .:D

For any WaW players here, you'll know why I'm so anxious! :huh: . Patrol 5 just started there last Friday, and it covers the war period between SEP 40 - NOV 40. Each Patrol period is 3 months. But in "real time" it started this last Friday...and ends on DEC 24.

Since 2.0 requires a fresh install, MANY of the players that use GWX there will probably wait till the end of this cycle... (WaW is on cycle 3, and continues till 45) ...before they upgrade.

However...my system just crashed...so I'm starting out with a fresh new install...so yea!!....I can't wait!!

Got my download link at 00.14 (our local time) Work meant I was up and about at 05.00, so started to download as the coffee brewed. It took over two hours to download all the files and another 30-odd minutes to install. Then into work.

Pity me. GWX2 is sitting on my machine at home, all ready to roll and I'm at work until 21,00 this evening!

Start a torrent, that's really easy. Run uTorrent, press 'Create a new torrent', then 'Add GWX 2.0 files'. Then post a link to .torrent file on your blog :).

We are well aware of the feasability of such an action. However, we are also of the belief that the vast majority of people on this forum are honourable people, and as such would not entertain or consider such an innapropriate action.

Having a rough idea of the numbers involved (contributors) I believe it would require a mammoth effort to undertake such an exercise.
Any action would have to be taken by Neal as he is the only person with such detailed information.

We discussed this briefly last night.

While we welcome the distibution of GWX by 'Burn & Share' we must ask for some small allowances.

Please wait until the general release is, umm, released.

Under no circumstances can anyone profit or attempt to profit from the 'Burn & Share' scheme. Reimbursemnet of mailing costs is between to sender & recieving party. Maybe a copy & pass it on scheme would help.

Anyway, we want as many people as possible to get GWX and if we can help people limited on Dialup or BW limits, we welcome it.
