I see quite a few planning to print six hundred pages.

Before you do ask yourself do I really need to.

if its for posterity and for the collection then OK thats one thing

but if it is just to use as a reference while playing then save yourselves

the paper ink and effort by this technique.

when playing sh3/gwx if you hit pause and hit alt+tab
this will take you to your desktop where you can either
open or read your PDF manual. then when done just
click on the taskbar and unpause.

repeat procedure as often as necessary.

M out.

Martin, of course it makes more sense to alt-tab.
But at least in my case, it makes my game unstable/crash to desktop!

It might be an idea to play the game not-fullscreen. You can turn full-screen off in the game. In my case you can alt-tab without crashing the game.

I've got two monitors. Game on one, manual on the other. Seriously though, if you have a dual head card (doesn't everybody nowdays?) grab another LCD monitor (like $200 or less) and you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

What else is a Kaleun to read when he needs to head to the "head" (Head: n., maritime slang; 'a ship's water closet, toilet or wash-room'), on a cold winters night? Especially with swigging down a pot of coffee to stay alert on GWX patrol. :o :arrgh!: :smug:

So I'm guessing a lot, probably 90% will be as is, ie regular Kaleuns already know whats what and where?.:know:
So can a mini manual of only the 'new' stuff not be produced?.:hmm:
New Kaleuns can read the whole new package, existing just get the new stuff?......
I'm guessing most of us are on home size printers, the new manual, whilst worth it for the upgrade, will drain a couple of inktanks on my Epson 830 before its finished.
Just a thought...........

Just a thought........... Hi!

There are about 300 pages of new stuff - just based on pagecount alone - not counting edits and changes to the stuff that was there before. I think your best bet is to read it online (there each chapter heading has a hyperlink) rather than printing it out.
