I figured out how to disable the instant death screen. No more game over when your hull reaches 100% damaged and no more domino destruction effect. Maybe someone could help me make an .exe patch installer because I can't release a modded .exe file. Anyone interested in helping me with the installer? To be honest, I don't know how to creat one. :-?

you have modded the exe?

Yes, that is why I said I need help with an .exe patcher installer. Other mods have altered the .exe indirectly through a patcher. That is ok as long as we don't release an altered .exe game file directly.

Well, I was wrong about the domino effect destroying equipment. But at least the game doesn't instantly end. The problem is that even if you can recover or and make it back to base or whatever, when you exit the game, it shows sub as destroyed and you are still listed as dead. This is because the hull reached 100% damaged. But there might be a way around that, too. ;)

Make it that the maximum amount of damage sustainable is 99 percent. That way if through some miracle you can get a sub that has sunk back to the surface and home you will be able to continue on to a new sub and or mission.

This would not be cheating really cause once certain sections are full, and pumps no longer work, your stuck. The only inacuracy would be if the boat reaches the point of implosion. The damage in the current game is moddeled so badly, your crew can't excape when in shallow depths (even though in enemy waters this was usually certain death.) and if one compartment floods the boat is finished, which to my understanding is not true. Fleet boats were designed to stay afloat with one compartment flooded.

Do you know how to do this?

I have run into the terrible problem of days and nights becoming really short after hull damage reaches 100%. I have no idea why. :shifty:
