Many thanks for the collection & for zipping it up into a RAR file. I can never get enough period music on my Gramophone - It really creates the right atmosphere for me when I'm on patrol.
Enjoyed the Josephine Baker track - 'La Vie En Rose'. She was a real character; In her shows, in Paris, before the War, she used to appear practically nude on stage, often accompanied by her pet leopard, Chiquita. The cat wore a diamond coller & often escaped into the orchestra pit.:o - Makes Celine Dion & The PussyCat Dolls look a little bit tame.:yep:

Thankyou Mengle these are really great, much appreciated.
Trefoil hi,
Your knowledge astounds me.
Any chance of putting that in Sh3 Nightclub scene. That would brighten things up. Pity it can't be a small movie clip.

Hi, nikbear - I live in Llandudno, Queen of Welsh resorts & popular retirement choice for submariners everywhere. Americans who haven't visited here should picture Venice, Florida without the sun or the alligators.:D

Yes, it's still here in North Wales - If you're thinking of Portmeirion, where 'The Prisoner' was made, starring Patrick McGoohan. He also starred in 'Danger Man' & is still around, as well.:yep: (just checked on imdb). He's coming up to his 80th birthday & one of his last acting jobs was a voice-over as 'Number Six' in a Simpsons parody of 'The Prisoner'.

Thats the place. I knew it was Port something. Must visit it sometime.
The Prisoner. The idea of the program was done by himself. I don't think he wrote the sketches though, but I could be wrong, A Great actor .
I think that's where Noel Edmonds got the idea of Mr. Blobby!
