Does anyone have detailed information regarding Japanese Type 93 Sonar? Or all Japanese WWII sonar for that matter :hmm:.

I've been doing a lot of digging and have learned some interesting things but need more detailed info. I have a couple ideas on how they might be worked into SH4.

Thanks!!!

What kind of info do you need exactly? I've found two threads that deal with tweaking the sensors in general, both my Ducimus:

This (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119272&highlight=Sensors) and this (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=111395).

I also found this reading (http://www.ducimus.net/sh4/ai.htm) very interesting.
They've helped me out A LOT when I began custom-building the sensors to my taste.

Thanks for the info! Actually--what I'm looking for isn't in the game. The info in-game isn't really the same as Real World/Historical. For example--Japanese 93-1 sonar at the beginning of the war could locate submarines at 2500 yards (max range). 93-3 sonar from what I've found so far wan't used on anything but cruisers. Type 3-1 (I think that's what it's called) was actually pretty much a clone of Germany's S-Gerat.

So--I guess I'm looking for specs so I can compare/contrast with allied systems 123, 128, 144, 147 and Qx. Info for them is much easier to find.

Thanks DrBeast!!!
