As of friday last week two diffrent parties in our region have said we are not allowed to decorate the streets like every year before hand reason:

1) it may offend the ethnic minorities in the area, they have said we should only put up decorations on our own private property.

2) health and safty officals have banned the fire service from putting up lights on the street lamps and poles because there at high risk of falling off thier ladders.

That would just make ppl like me go out and do it to annoy them, thank god we haven't reached that stage yet, if we ever do my house & the street will light up like the sun there did be no way they could ignore it. :lol:
