[REQ] Removing range estimation from the TBT

I got this idea from a new mod being done for SH3:

In essence, the TBT was like its German counterpart, the UZO, in that it only fed bearing info to the TDC - it was not a rangefinder.

Now, with that said, is there any way this can be modded into the game, or are the targeting tools inseparably linked between the periscopes and the TBT?

I think you could edit the menu ini to prevent the button of the range finder being displayed when in the TBT screen? :hmm:

Anyway you always have the easiest option: Do not use it :lol:

The problem is that the range and bearing buttons are combined on the TBT screen.
