VIIC skins

It may have been asked before but is there a way to convert the VIIC skins to VIIB?.

As it was stated above skins made for VIIC work fine with VIIB. I don't really see the reason of renaming the files but if you feel you will have a better performance go ahead. Just make sure you use JSGME so that if you mess up your installation you can fix it easily.

Thought that JSGME would just replace the VIIC skin automatically and not the VIIB?.

add your sub in through JSGME..then go to museum...youll see the diff when looking at diff years....
like the 9 series..the turm (in game and painted) is only used for certain years (and) depending on the model you choose and the tower...

Actually if I'm not mistaken any 7C repaint will work for any of the 7 series subs; ie VIIC/41 & 42.
Renaming the files isn't necessary, I actually wouldn't recommend it because it just doesn't make any sense to me :-?

does this mean that if I enable a skin for the VII, it will work with the VIIB or C without changing the names of the files?

Just enable the VIIC skin, if you have a VIIB it'll still work, no need to rename anything.

Some skins are compatible others aren't. Trial and error I always say.;)
