RL bold decoy could last for up to 25 minutes. The stock bold only lasts for a few minutes. So is there(and I believe I heard there was) any mod to make the bold decoy last longer?

Anything to help against the odd during the later war years:).
Thx

Edit: I tried searching this forum, through yahoo and ubrs but it didn't give me anything

you can tweak them via minitweaker- tool

Well, to be honest I can't, because I don't have SH3 installed at the moment, and mini tweaker can't run without it. But IIRC I modified the bold lasting times with the standard tweak files available at the Timetraveller's site. torpedo.sim or .zon perhaps.

p.s. Friedl9te, thank you for your great help thread, helped me to save much time when looking for expansions for SH3 a couple of times.

edit: not sure, or was it only the number of bold carried by each uboot, not the lasting time? It was quite some time ago I made it... Sorry for confuson :(

Thx Kaleu_Mihoo but I already have the mini tweaker.

and Koowndag thx for the file name, btw is that the number in minutes?

I'm using Rubini's tweak which mod the sensors.dat file will this clash with the bold tweak?

EDIT: I found out that it doesn't clash with either Rubini's crew alert mod or the Jungman's sensor mod.

Thanks now the bold is really going to save my crews' life:hmm:

EDIT 2: Being a realism freak as I am I can't help to ask this: What's the realistic value for the bold life now that I found out that there are 5 progressive types of them. I know the maximum value that is the fifth bold life should be 25.

My current value is as now
Bold 5: 25 from 15
Bold 4: 21 from 12.5
Bold 3: 17 from 10
Bold 2: 13 from 7.5
Bold 1: 9 from 5

My reasoning is as follow: at the default value Bold 5 has the value of 15 and each progressive bold starting from bold 1 increases by 2.5 which is 1/6 of bold 5 value. So If I know the max realistic value for bold 5 is 25 then I consider each type of bold progresses by 1/6 of the previous bold type so hence 1/6 of 25 is about 4 hence the increment value of 4 with bold 1 starting at 9.

If you happen not to know the realistic value what's your convenient setting then? and why?

Im guessing minutes as well...I added 5 on to each one and have yet had the chance to try em out...
