I've spent half the day modding hell out of the game with some of the most incredible (!) mods; you modders are so talented I wonder how the stock game ever made it out of the factory like it is. Apart from the moderate confusion of figuring out what will work with what (inevitable when you have so many good choices), my game has doubled or trebled in realism.

So I just wanted to say thanks to everybody who's improved textures, sounds, physics, you name it. I can hardly wait for the add-on to come out so I can see what GlobalHunter I will be like.

So now what I think we need is a galley mod. My crew is on the verge of mutiny after all the Raman they've had to put up with. Even now there are furtive whisperings in the mess, and banging on the tables with comments like "So much for the best food in the Navy!" and "One more day of Mac & Cheese and I'll skewer him meself!"

I'd court-martial the cook and steward, but then the crew would starve to death. Think one of you modders could re-work the in-game food so that we can start eating like a real crew?:arrgh!:

"No good deed goes unpunished."

Gee, I didn't expect a "you're welcome," but how does posting a sincere "thank you" rate only one star? I mean, if you don't appreciate being thanked, why not just ignore it?:-?

The are busy modding:D and answering questions on their individual threads.

Probably so! Actually what I meant, though, was that after I posted somebody (might not even have been a modder) came along and rated it a 1. That seemed a little bit of a chickens&*$ thing to do. But oh, well - I'm still thankful for the mods and mod builders we have, and still looking forward to the add-on.

Cheers,
Rob

Look at how many threads(discussions) don't get rated at all.

So you feel unappreciated because your appreciation went unappreciated?

my head hurts...

Jeshrist, John. Just forget it. I'm sorry I said anything at all. It's stupid crap like this that makes me glad I have better things to do.

Go back and re-read my second post - the one where I said

I didn't expect a "you're welcome,"...

And also the one above where I said

But oh, well - I'm still thankful for the mods and mod builders we have, and still looking forward to the add-on.

because I had [I]hoped that that would be the end. I mean, I bitched, a moderator responded (nicely), and I replied because I thought an explanation that ended on a positive note was best. That was enough for me. Now, I've had more than enough. I promise I will never thank anyone here for anything else again, and I will write 100 times on the board "I will not bitch on subsim about subsim."

Just lock it already. I'm done.
