View Full Version : My newest 7C in full camo; Blue Avenger

This is more like a completely arctic camouflaged sub perfect for those who want to blend in with the icebergs :up: I was just playing around with some Photoshop patterns and renders, came up with this in the end:

I've thought about this with a black hull, a red hull and a dark navy blue hull, but for now it's as-is and close to 27MB in archived format.

She's being uploaded to my site right now, should be about 15 minutes until she's ready. :cool:

I made a mistake and left in my original PSD files, so if you downloaded this sub I recommend re-downloading the file now or deleting anything with a PSD extension so you're not stuck with a few files you won't need to run this skin. Sorry about that mistake, shouldn't happen again.:oops:

I love the camo pattern. :p

Maybe try to make the base natrual metal texture. upper half with your amazing camo and the under half with metal layering.

What do you think?:hmm:

I was just messing around when I tweaked that pattern out. I remember the process I used to make it but I think it can be refined just a little bit more, clean it up etc.

I was thinking of doing multiple styles with this pattern, greys and whites etc. so that suggestion of yours Wolfehunter is pretty feasable. I'm waiting for my engine to cool down so I can replace my spark plugs before my wife gets off work. I hope I get that done in time and if I get it finished sooner I'll see what I can pull out of my sleeve :up:

This version isn't done yet - I was just playing around (again), I haven't gotten around to the stuff wrapping the conning tower nor the extras I have planned for the hull, but here's a look at something that would make even the strongest sea legs feel sick:

No darker than the darkest grey on the camo;) and could it be for the TypeIXC as well,I've been upgraded:rock: thank you:yep:

Shoot that's easy, I can do that but that camo isn't grey, it's sky blue :lol:

She does have a grey tint underwater, but above it's another story :cool:

I'll find the nearest grey that would match the darkness of that blue, but I'm gonna leave a hint of that camo pattern in there. I'm at work now for the next 4 hours, I may have that finished later on this evening if my wife lets me :yep:

As for that vomit colored sub, I haven't touched it since I've been messing with my site, but I'll try to make that more of a sea green color and hopefully release it by tonight as well. ;)
