Gawd I miss making fun of Newfies!! I used to live in Edmonton, was there from '98 til '05, and we had this one Newfie in high school who was just so daggone clueless, it almost brought tears to my eyes to hear him talk :rotfl:Worse than any redneck down here in the South! LOL One of the best guys I've ever known though, I'll say that to his credit :up:

Regarding that Newfoundland issue...
I've seen recently a tv-series, on all sorts of pilots and "pliots to be", recruited for Allied air unit that was intended to patrol North-west Atlantic...
It was problematic mixture of various guys who have to be trained -from the basics of serious flying,... bad weather navigation and formation flight,...etc.
As far as I remeber, it was late 41 and somewhere at Newfoundland... correct me if I'm wrong !
Anyhow, I have never met anybody from that part of world... and did not have intention to make a joke on peoples origin.
