Part C.) Tankers

None but comin soon !

For Install-informations take a look to the readme-file of each unit.
Some of these ship are only made for the german fleet.
If you want use them for other nations, you have to edit your Roster-folder by your own.

I will update this thread if i release an new Vessel.

One Question at ALL:

How can MadMax:arrgh!: used converted SH4_Ships from Molcke2005/Yamatoforever and rowi58, without there Permissions??? I have ask today Molcke2005, if he gives MadMax:arrgh!: Permission to used his converted Ships, and he said: NO and also he said: he can do nothing agains that.
Please read the Subsim`s recommended modding etiquette about Permission.

If any body take files from GWX for his own MOD, he needs Permission from the GWX_DEV_Team, or not? And also said´s MR. L: GWX is not a Modding_Pool for other Modders.
But MadMax:arrgh!: takes converted SH4-Ship_files from Molcke2005 and rowi58 as he like, this is his Modding_Pool.
I say: Stop that Steeling from MadMax:arrgh!: right now!!!!
The same Rules for all Modders in this Forum, or the Subsim`s recommended modding etiquette arent just emty WORDS.
MadMax:arrgh!: was the Reason, why rowi58, Molcke2005 and I, leaving the German_UBI_Forum and why we deleted our Files from Filefront.com

And MadMax:arrgh!: needs hundredtimes keelhauled and then leaving in the water for the Sharks.:gulp:

I'm speaking olny for myself in this one but I think this permissions issue is getting a bit tiering. Like everything in life the moment you publish something it's becoming public property. Therefore I see nothing wrong with people using other mods/models/skins etc as long as they do reference their source and give due credit. In my job I am using ideas, methods or information from other people or sources, but I never have to ask for any sort of permission. I only need to reference them and give due credit to the group of people who created them.

As I said before I'm speaking only for myself here so if I offend someone it's not intentional.

Hello Kaleun´s,

now iam coming back to topic with a new french liner called "Pasteur" which is in progress.

This ship was build in 1938 and drives under french flag from August1939 to August 1940.
After this until June 1945 the "Pasteur" drives under british flag for the Cunard-Whitestar-line as an Trooptransporter.
After War from June 1945 to 1957 she was given back to france.
In September 1957 the Northgerman Lloyd byed this ship and renamed it into "Bremen"
There she drives until 1971 and then she was selled to greece.
Then she called "Regina Magna".

In 1980 she sunk on her last way to a wreckyard.:down:

The Gustloff comes in 3 different designs.

1.) original KDF Design

2.) Red Cross Design

3.) Navy grey Design

You have the choice between an armed/unarmed Version.
For this you have to change the different EQP-files.
More informations you can find in the readme-file.

First i wanne say that i couldnt realize this ship without the help of D.Kruger, who give me nice inspirations with his pictures of an modell from the Gustloff !

Another big help i got from BigBoywooly.
He was the man who fixed the problem with the flag and who worked out the nodes for the guns.
He also talk to danlisa to make the sil-file to better style.

Las but not least Danlisa worked out the nice Sil-file for this ship. Thank you mate for your help.

I must say that this unit is an example for an good working community.

Hi Laphroaig,

i really like old Liner cause they are so majestetic.
I also like the Merchants build in the 50´s after the war.
They got an nice curved design much better then the ships today.
My Uncle was Captain on a hapag freighter from the 60´s to the 90´s and i had the luck to make a journey with him on an very old freigter, build in 1959 and that was a beautyfull ship.

the RedCross freighter is really great work, but what does it carry ? Cork ? It took me four torps to sink and a few shells, too. A tough little bastard it is :x .

Oh, I didn't. The Cross was too high on the funnel for the torps :D . But, before being torpedoed, the ship got a new skin and another nationality, of course. Won't shot on red cross, halfmoon or cow (if thats the correct thing in India :hmm: ).

I still have fixed this problem.
You can use the ship-file from NKLSS_Hansa and rename it to M35R_shp and the Bug is fixed.
Do the same to M35Hansa cause he got the same problem.

I just uploading the fixed units so everybody who load it got the fixed version.

So I see the size of the TGA decided, whether it would show up or not :hmm:

Anyway, I see in your new version that you added tha black TGA, so for those of us who likes the red/blue/green version just has to use a white *_ship.TGA in the size of 16*64 for this Red Cross ship.

I think, I saw something with the War Freighter and the Hansa tanker too. But if I recall correctly, the trick about using the file name from the original ship did the trick...

Anyway, if I see any other, I'll tell you...

I know you didn't publish it in public, but you should adress iambecomelife for his original ship about releasing the clone, but before you do, could you check with M35B if you have this problem too:

I had cribled this ship with a torpedo in a convoy, so it was slowing down to be behind the convoy. I then wanted to wait and surface to finish it off with the deckgun. Asu usual, I put the 2WO to the tower, but this gave me CTD every single time I tried. When thinking about it, I had this problem once too in Kiel, after I had filled it with several of your new ships for Germany, so I can't really tell, which other ships might have that error too. Just wanted to let you know for now. I will follow up on this, when I get time to investigate further, which ships I see this problem with...

No, the old one. When the improved freighter was released in the second version as M35C, Maddy cloned the old one and named M35B, because they were not 100% identically, and voilà two new targets instead of one. But maybe something went wrong in the process... :hmm:
Anyway, will await Maddy's answer, but he seems to be on extended shoreleave for the moment.:lol:

if this is a dumb question, Can these freighters be put into different nations folder and appear as "captured" or sold to the allies or neutral nations? I love the look but I also have an urge to sink them! Of course I wouldnt dare sink my own countries ships........but if they look that good i may be tempted!

Now she gots more realistic stern- and bow-design and the masts are corrected from black to white.

now its time to let the french Liner "Pasteur" swim.

This ship was build in 1938/39 and she droves under french flag until 1940.
From 1940 until 1946 she was british.
