View Full Version : [WIP] Additional Ship Names for GWX & SH3 Commander

Hello everybody,

I've been doing some research and before I get more into it I want to make sure that this hasn't been done before. I've been compiling a list of actual names of whale factory ships and what nation they sailed under. I also am researching the names of actual troop ships and ore carriers. This way when you sink a whale ship or one of the other ships that I have listed and view your progress under SH3 commander you will see a correct name associate with the ship that you sunk, instead of a name from the general merchant/tanker list. I'd like some help if anybody is willing.

Someone else was planning this (Sailor Steve, I think?) but never finished it. Try contacting him. If you are having any trouble finding names for ore carriers or whale factory ships I could send you some, since those are some of my favorite types of ship.
