View Full Version : Mod Installation Order
Okay guys, last night I went through the process of downloading all the latest mods as follows:
All of Leo's ROW, Duci's TM 1.4.6, Werner's NSM Classic, & tater's latest Campaign Layers.
Based on the information with these files they all say the modify changes made in the other mods, so my question for all you guys is simple:
What is the preferred installation order of these mods so that all the good stuff doesn't get over written with bad stuff?

edit:
- You need 7zip or WinRar to extract the files
- Use the latest version of JSGME to enable
- Mod is meant to be run in tandem with ROW, install mods in the following order:
ROW Objects Reflections vs1
ROW Ship Reflections vs1
ROW SUB Reflections vs_2
ROW Textures VS_2
ROW Classic Sea Foam
REL_Trigger_Maru_GFX_PAK_2_2
REL_Trigger_Maru_1-6-4
BTW this is my first attempt at copy and paste and it worked :D

Thanks Firewall, I got that order from ROW the same as you ... my concern were the other two mods I'm working with ...
NSM and tater's campaign layers in conjunction with the ROW and TM mods. :)

I don't have nsm mod installed but do have campain layer.
I put it in last. Can't remember if it overwrote anything.
Taters campaign layer may already be in TM 1.4.6, check the readme, I think it is...
Ducimus pulled the NSM, out of TM, I think because of technical issues.
If you want torpedo frustration then add the NSM Torpedo MOD, its very good at exhibiting abberant torpedo behaviour for the early war years.
I also recommend the DC MOD and Ducimus Test Visual AI just for kicks.
ROW will give you magnificent eye candy! It is really great! Enjoy!

Yep got an early version of it ... enjoy it greatly as I do the earlier versions of TM.

Um, just read you have to install the ROW Textures after installing TM

So... to clarify this,
NSM and TM conflict, and I need to choose one OR the other to use with ROW?
