This is my newest work in progress; I think I wanna put some designs across the top but I don't know yet...

For some reason that stinkin snorkel is still green and I need to tint the periscope black but apart from that it's looking about done. Won't add any funky designs to it or anything like that.
This'll be released by tonight as long as my wife doesn't drag me away :dead:

Great news!!
I was wondering if there is any chance you can do it for the IXD2...
I have been trying, but when I paint the hull red, the anchor is red too, as well as some tiny details on the deck. It's very frustrating sometimes.
Anyway, I hope you can release it today. ;)

A IXD2 would take me a bit longer but I can certainly do it mate, just have to crop all the holes and separate the parts of the boat. I'll see what I can do for you as far as getting that done.
As far as this red hull and black top VIIC goes, she's finished and getting uploaded right now. Only 14 megs or so - shouldn't be much longer. I'll post again when it's up on my site ;)
For now, a little teaser:
My VIIC Engine of Destruction

You can hardly see the details in these decreased sized pics... I did a number of touch-ups on the boat but I don't want to spill any beans. ;)
You should see her at nite...this is certainly a boat that won't blow your cover

This one's up on my site now if you're interested, close to 14 megs just as I thought. I love this skin, it just has this sinister look to it when it's cruising above the waves or hunting below them.

Superb Work!!!!
I will put my hands on it as soon as i finish uploading some files.
Congrats on that and I hope you can do something about the IXD2 version.
BTW, Do you know which area of the hull goes to the anchor in the IXD2?
Thanks mate. ;)

If it's anything like painting the VIIC the anchor is aft of the bow rivets, they're in the top right corner and pretty distinguishable. Let me tinker around with that boat, I'll get you something within the next little while. It only took me about 3 tries with the VIIC's
Hope you like that boat man, she's something else for sure

Ok SWCowboy, first, sorry for the double post.
Second, I just registered at your site and all I can say is that there is excellent material and I am d/l it now like a madman. Amazing skins.
Just in case I am opening a new thread where I will release 5 skins for the IXD2, of course they don't have the 10th. part of quality yours do, but I hope you enjoy them anyway.
Cheers mate!!

That IXD2 skin is a weird one to follow... I haven't figured out what the bottom part of that TGA file is on the boat. I may have to learn this thing from your skins CapZap, I'm at a loss right now, my biggest problem is that I think I'm lacking some files for that sub, I've only got 2 from my extracted set so I'm wondering if I did something wrong. :nope:
I learned to paint these VIIC's from Koondawg and my experience doing web design helped with the sub effects, if anything I'm still an apprentice but I'm glad there's a few people out there that enjoy these repaints I do :D
Back to the drawing boards  maybe I can get that EOD paint on this boat by the end of tomorrow morning if I'm lucky ;)

Don't worry... I know it takes a lot time to learn over and over when you go from one class to another. I hope my skins help you a little, but don't pull up your hopes, since they are very rustic.
Congrats once again for your skins.
Oh, one more thing: Do you have any idea where can I get the skin Koondawg has in his sig? I visited his page but it's empty. :damn:
In about 30 minutes my skins will be uploaded.
Cheers mate!!

Sure partner, the -=[BtS]=- Dry Docks are setup in 4 boards; any board that ends in "Glossary" contains no download links as it's viewable by guests.
Any board ending in "Sub Shop" contains the downloads, those boards can only be viewed by registered members. The one you're looking for in his sig is the IXB Camo in Koon's Sub Shop :D http://beyond-the-shadows.org/bts-forums/index.php?topic=61.0

Oh, I see.... Thanks for the reply!!
And let me tell you that with this black/red skin, you are forcing me to use the VII again!!!
It's too nice to ignore it!!
