[REQ] Auto-lower TC

When too much is going on in SH3 and I am at high TC, the game can become unresponsive, especially in GWX where so much more is going on than in stock. The "freeze" can be so severe that I can't slow down the TC by any means at all, and I'm stuck waiting for some event to trigger an automatic TC drop. I'm locked out.

The obvious solution is to lower the max TC in main.cfg in My Documents, but the problem with that is I spend all day watching my boat crawl across the ocean at a snail's pace.

Can anyone think of a way to automatically lower the TC when the strain on the CPU gets too high?

Not sure can be done
I generally dont use max TC in areas I know I will find traffic but on occasion have been caught out

I usually press ENTER until drops back to 1 TC or hit Esc
Can be a pain though

Didn't think it would be possible as an SH3 mod but thought I'd try.

A more likely ray of hope might be in the form of an external tool. There are tools that send keys, and tools that monitor framerates... does anyone know a tool which does both?

Done the same thing...ended a stunning patrol with 27000+ tonnage...TC into the harbor (lorient) and ended up crashing through the docks killing everyone on board, and left a mile wide path all the way to Kiel...:rock: someone call AAA...I here they have free towing

There is a simple way to stop high TC:


Press one of the keyboard key and change to rhe conning tower if you're at surface...

if down change to command room !

TC will go to 8 automat. !:yep:
