Kaleuns,

I´m a new member on this forum. I´m an U-boat maniac from Germany and interested in submarines since my early childhood. Surprisingly, it took me quite a while until I found SH III and since then, it really got me!

I´m searching for a skin of the famous U-505. It wasn´t the luckiest U-boat, but is one of the very few that is still existing today. It was brought up in 1944 and today is on display in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Does anyone have a modified skin (or is interested in making one) of that famous IX C U-boat?
It carried a shell emblem on both sides of the tower and the emblem of the 2nd flotilla on the tower front. I can provide some photos of that sub, if necessary.

Many thanks for your help in advance!

Is it possible to modify the "Turm9c.tga" file in a way that it will carry the emblems of U-505? Anybody tried this on another skin before?

Cheers, Arnd
